Born and raised in Chicago, Timothy J. Ryan received his undergraduate degree from Boston College in 1978. Having been accepted to the S.C.A.L.E. Program at Southwestern University School of law, Ryan received his J.D. degree in 1980. Ryan currently serves on the Board of directors of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA) as well as being a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association California Bar Association and Western Trial Lawyers Association. More recently, Ryan has served on the Statewide Liaison Panel for all Ford/Firestone Litigation.

A sought-after lecturer and speaker, Mr. Ryan has appeared as a legal commentator on numerous television shows as well as a participant in continuing legal education programs.

For the last thirty (30) years, the law firm of Timothy J. Ryan & Associates has been devoted to representing the rights of consumers in the area of personal injury litigation.
